But, I just wanted to let you know that I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Mike was punctual, extremely friendly and professional, fun, patient, knowledgeable, helpful, and most importantly was able to guide a beginner like me to my first steelhead on the fly! Despite lots of losing flies and untangling lines due to my lack of skill, he kept a positive attitude and was very encouraging all day.
I recently watched an episode of The New Fly Fisher where they were steelhead fishing near Lake Erie, and literally every tip and technique they mentioned was exactly what Mike showed me in Ontario. It was like Mike wrote the script for the show.
Anyways, I’m sure you already knew Mike was a great guide, but I felt compelled to let you know just how happy I was with my fishing experience with him. Thanks for making it happen!

I just wanted to drop a quick note to thank you once again for the great day on the river s on Saturday. It definitely renewed my enthusiasm for the sport as well as help to reaffirm that I do have some clue as to what I am doing.
You are a true professional when on the water with your clients and trying your hardest to get them that trophy fish. Even though you said that big boy was a 22 incher, I am going to say it was a 15 incher so I don’t feel as bad for losing it..hahah

We got a double header and landed both, and Tracy got two salmon topping 30lbs each.
