Meet The Guide

Mikey is a self-confessed steelhead addict but he is equally at ease jumping into a small creek with his trusted 4 wht in pursuit of elusive resident trout ( especially wild brown trout) . He also loves taking fly friendly Small Mouth Bass on Top water flies. His easy going manner and laid back teaching style puts most students instantly at ease as he tries to make learning as fun as possible  . He is equally comfortable teaching first timer fly fishers how to cast as he is teaching the seasoned fly fishers new techniques. He calls his home waters the Grand River and Upper Credit for resident Trout. For Steelhead his favorite river to wade is the Bighead but he  also has access to private waters on the Eastern Lake Ontario tributaries for more of an up-close and personal style of Steelheading .
